Online storage

What is an easy way to share files between different machines across various operating system? Dropbox, Google Drive, and some other! Well, they are if your don’t care where your data is stored and you don’t need plenty of space. BTW, sorry guys, 2 GB looks like a floppy nowadays…

I’m a fan of ownCloud but their need for WebDAV is an obstacle. Not all hoster supports WebDAV. FTPBox is more like my taste. Damn, no client for Linux. Maybe, BitTorrent Sync…encryption is available but no easy way to run it on a shared hosting and so source code (I’m not sure if this is open source). Anyway, for a setup with two host it seems to be an alternative to rsync and scp.
