Mosh

On my Yoga Pro 2 I really miss the built-in WWAN capability of the T410. Using an external USB UMTS modem is annoying. Especially that the thing needs to be removed every time want to put the Yoga into my backpack. Usually all connections are terminated and Gnome Terminal is kind of blocking before it shows ‘Write failed: Broken pipe’ . mosh claims to be able to roams between connections.

Set the needed firewall rules for the involved parties. mosh is using an UDP port in the range 60000-61000.

And now do a reload.

To establish a connection, use mock instead of ssh.
