Getting started with LXC is very easy…there is virt-manager which is a fine assistant in that matter. Start virt-manager.
Perhaps you can see a connection to QEMU like I do. The first step is to add a new connection. Click “File” and then “Add new connection”

As Hypervisor choose “LXC (Linux Containers)”

virt-manager show now an additional connection to LXC.

Creating a new container is very straight-forward. Just click a couple of times “Forward”. First give your container a name and select “Application container”

A shell is ok.

No need for plenty of RAM.


Ready to run.

This is now a Linux container 😉
