Alpine Linux and an Alix1D

My Alix1D was still running Alpine Linux 2.3.0. Well, of course the upgrade to the latest Alpine Linux release went wrong. I remembered that I moved the operating system according this wiki article to the CF card. It worked fine back in the days. The issue now was that I could not find my CF card reader (perhaps it is gone…fortunately most gadgets (Raspberry Pi, Cubieboard, et al) are working with SD cards nowadays).

Ok, let’s boot the Alix1D with a bootable USB key. Cool, Alpine Linux runs like a charm. Just run the setup script

and everything is good to go.
